Is this a PSA accredited register?

No, but it is only open to practitioners who are already on registers accredited by a regulator.

Should our register reach a certain size, we will consider working to meet the requirements for PSA accreditation.

This would potentially offer registrants the opportunity to opt out of the current main membership bodies in favour of something more in line with their own ethics. We are far away from this, but why not start now by joining and getting involved?

Do you have an ethical code?

At present, members must already be on an accredited register and these have their own obligatory ethical codes. However, in the light of SCoPEd, we will consider developing a code of our own to try to offer an alternative.

If I join now for free, will I be charged later?

No, once our register reaches a certain threshold we will only need to make a charge for new memberships.

Will you adopt SCoPEd?

The SCoPEd framework de-skills and limits swathes of perfectly well qualified practitioners without giving the public greater clarity on who is safe. It serves only the vested interests of greedy self-appointed gatekeepers to the detriment of the profession and public health.

In ignoring the entire Humanistic tradition it is fundamentally at odds with our core beliefs and will never be adopted.

Do you have membership tiers?

Absolutely not. No modality discrimination either.

Who is behind the ATICP?

It’s an un-funded grassroots organisation. Our only members are listed on the register. The Twitter account is currently manned by Richard. If you’d like to influence how the org evolves, please consider joining and getting involved.
