Karen is a trauma‑informed therapist and MAP Method™ practitioner offering online therapy for adults, teens and young people across the UK. Jonathan Kay HG.Dip.P, MHGI

I specialise in effective, solution-focused therapy informed by the Human Givens (HG) approach to mental health and well-being.

I treat adults and adolescents to overcome a wide range of issues as quickly as possible including anxiety (panic attacks, phobias and OCD), depression, trauma
(PTSD), addictions, self-harm, stress, anger, burnout, self-esteem, confidence and relationship issues.

I have a particular interest in helping people recover from trauma (Rewind technique), and have considerable success in improving the quality of clients’ sleep.

I aim to help people move forwards in the minimum possible number of sessions. To support clients’ progress, sessions are structured, using measurable outcomes.

I see clients in relaxed, private therapy rooms in North London and Central London on most weekdays with some online session availability.

I offer an initial free phone consultation, so please get in touch to discuss how I can best help you. I will be keen to understand the outcome you would like to achieve, happy to provide more information and answer any questions.

Marc Mason

Marc Mason

I am a humanistic counsellor, primarily working with Gestalt therapy.

I work with clients from a range of communities. I have worked with two LGBTQIA+ organisations: Switchboard and the East London Out Project (ELOP) with clients who, like me, identify as queer or from the LGBTQI+ communities. This enhances my ability to work with experiences such as shame, discrimination, and othering, and to support clients who are from oppressed or minority groups or are otherwise living ‘against the grain’. I have additional training in working alongside Trans, gender diverse and questioning people from Gendered Intelligence.

I have particular experience relevant to working with professionals. Prior to training as a counsellor I practiced as a barrister specialising in family law. I am also Senior Lecturer in law at the University of Westminster. This has allowed me to explore issues relating to lawyer wellbeing through my practice, teaching and research. I bring an awareness of the cultures of legal practice and the issues that lawyers might be facing (although I hold this awareness lightly to allow your experience to take the focus).
